How to Make Your Website Stand Out on Facebook

Have you ever noticed the picture attached to a shared link on Facebook or other social media platforms? This can actually be controlled in the Yoast settings in the backend editor of WPBakery. Be sure that the dimensions of the image are 1200x630px so it doesn’t get cropped or cut off (BTW: your customers WILL notice your mad cropping skills).

Make Your Website Link Stand Out from the Rest on Facebook

For this example, we will be editing a page. However, this information can be used for pages, posts and products.

Go to the Backend Editor of the page you wish to edit. Scroll down the page to a section titled Yoast SEO. Click the tab to expand it, if needed.

Click the Share icon in the upper left corner of the Yoast tab. Here, you can adjust the details of the link when it is shared to Facebook (and Twitter).

Save changes and Update/Publish.

Tips & Tricks

Don’t get cut off! Make sure the title and description are within the character limit. Yoast SEO shows a preview of your post to make it a little easier.
