Facebook just released their Avatars. It’s just like a Memoji on your iPhone, except you can use your avatar in Facebook comments and posts. Please remember that it is only a cartoon representation of yourself and it is not meant to look exactly like you. Have fun with it and encourage your friends to try it too. Here is a step-by-step information on how to create one.
Go to your Facebook app and look at the bottom menu. Select the last icon of 3 horizontal lines.
Select “See More” to expand the menu.
Select “Avatars”
Click “NEXT” on the screen and then “GET STARTED”.
Build an Avatar that resembles you! Follow the menu right below the main image. It will continue giving you more options. Scroll the menu to go back to adjust a feature like a skin tone or eye color.
You are ready! You can change your Avatar anytime by following the same steps!
If you would like to share your Avatar, click the arrow button.
